Welcome to our new monthly feature where we share with you some of our fave local and sustainable brands and products from the previous month.

November Faves Blog

1. June Home Supply

June is a must-know Winnipeg brand! Run by couple Danielle and Joel, this store is filled with stunning sustainable products. They sell a range of items for your home decor needs, including hand-woven bags and baskets. June is filled with items that can help you create a waste free lifestyle and help transform your space into an aesthetically pleasing home. They also sell a range of local brands, which we can totally get behind. Follow them @junehomesupply

2. Hello Darling Co.

Another Winnipeg gem, Hello Darling Co. creator and designer Miriam takes the scrunchie trend to an entirely new level with elaborate, stand out designs that we're obsessed with. From the Pom Party Headband to the mildly subtler Blair headband, you will stand out no matter what piece you choose. Get ready to live your Gossip Girl dreams when you put on a Hello Darling piece. Follow her @hello_darling_co

3. TenTree

This BC brand plants trees for every purchase you make and they use sustainable materials. Run by a group of environmentalists, TenTree is not only the ultimate sustainable brand, but their clothes and accessories are comfortable and stylish. Our fave grocery shopping totes are from TenTree and their sweaters are amazingly comfortable. The line consists of super soft robes, lounge pants, scrunchies, tees, undergarments and more, all made from sustainable fabrics such as Tencel (a cotton-like fabric made from sustainable wood cellulose). They also save fabric off-cuts to make the aforementioned scrunchies and other small pieces. TenTree is a brand you should support and has a very good price point, so check them out for gift ideas this year. Follow them @tentree

4. Soft Focus

Our lifestyles have changed dramatically and this brand designs comfortable lounge wear without dismissing style. Soft Focus’s elegant designs allow you to be comfortable and feel confident. The classic sweatsuit styles are available in stunning colours like Lilac and Marcona. You definitely get what you pay for with this brand, with natural fabrics that feel like luxury.  We can’t help but love the new Silky Set because it makes us feel like an absolute boss while you working from home. Follow them @in_softfocus

5. Maison Tess

Now that we're spending what seems like forever in bed, Maison Tess is a brand that has become very close to our hearts. This Quebec based brand sources cotton from a decades-old and family-run business who is part of the Better Cotton InitiativeTheir Bedding also comes with an Oeko-Tex certification, which means all fabrics and dyes are free from potentially harmful chemicals. Whether you need sheets, pillow shams or duvet covers all come in either luxe cotton, muslin cotton, washed linen, percale cotton and coco-linen (a blend of percale cotton and linen) and all look equally inviting. As if you need another reason to stay in bed! Follow them @maisontess
