Secret's Out

We've been hinting at something big for the last couple of months and we're finally ready to reveal the latest So Over It news...

Introducing So Over It Contemporary – an expansion of our vision for sustainable, circular fashion right here in Winnipeg.

Since moving to Academy Road in early 2025, we've only seen growth. And it's been a clear indicator that our community is ready for more.

What began as a luxury focused consignment store is evolving into something broader, more accessible, and more aligned with how all of us actually want to engage with fashion today.

This spring, we are opening a second space next door.

So Over It Contemporary is designed to complement our luxury store, offering a mix of contemporary and vintage labels at accessible price points, while maintaining the same standards of quality, care, and intentional curation.

We started So Over It in 2017 as lifelong friends who believed there was a better way to participate in fashion. Resale was never a compromise to us. It was a smarter, more thoughtful choice.

So Over It Contemporary is a natural extension of that belief.

With around two hundred brands in rotation, including labels like Aritzia and Ganni, this new space allows us to welcome a wider audience, especially younger shoppers who care about longevity, quality, and price.

Consignors will be able to move seamlessly between both stores, using store credit wherever it makes the most sense.

The space itself is a reflection of our values and we're so excited to show you the final results in March 2026!

Globally, clothing waste continues to rise while pieces are worn for less time. By repurposing over thirty thousand items since we opened 8 years ago, we have already seen the impact resale can make.

With the opening of So Over It Contemporary, we know that this impact will only grow.

For us, this growth is not about scale for the sake of it. It is about meeting people where they are, making better fashion choices easier, and showing that style, value, and responsibility can live in the same space.
